Good morning, new residents of Promitto!
[Not that any of you choose to come here. Oh well.]
My name is Jingfei, and I am here just the same as you. [Though she seems to be taking it well.] It did occur to me however, that some of you might not be familiar with how to use these!
[She holds up a Gear, and points to the pile of them behind her.]
They’re not the best, but these communicators are the only thing we’ve got. Below I’ll post a text document explaining how to use them. If you have questions about them, it might be better just to find me. I’ll be at the entrance to the to the Factory Quarter if you need me!

Jingfei’s guide to the Steamgears;
These little devices are quite useful, if they work properly. They’re probably a little off because Vel’s a little broken-- But don’t worry, you can still get some basic functionality out of them.
They have a few different settings: Video posts, voice or audio post, and text posts like this one. You can choose which one you’d like to use. But different ones will have different power requirements! For example, I didn’t do this whole post in video because it drains the power so fast. So text might be the way to go if you want to do a lot of talking with others.
They might act up on you, but it looks like the only way to get them to work right is to fix Vel. I’ve opened a few up to see if I couldn’t get them to work better myself, but I’ve had no luck. Such is life.
Like I said, I’ll be down by the Factory Quarter if you need me. (I’ve attached a map!) You can always shoot me a text here too, I’ll have my Gear on.
